Inheritance – to decipher the disease of forgetting

At some point in life, the question arises as to how one’s own estate should be settled. In addition to aspects of financial security for one’s partner and testamentary benefits for other family members, a donation to a charitable institution is increasingly being considered when settling an estate. This not only brings considerable tax advantages, but also creates the certainty of giving hope to many people beyond death. In Germany alone, around 1.8 million people live with dementia. By 2050, the number of people affected is expected to rise to 2.8 million. Since the establishment of our foundation in 2000, it has been our concern both to promote research and to support those affected in their everyday lives. By supporting research into causes, diagnosis and therapy, we are fighting for a future with less dementia!

However, progress also depends on the available funds. Therefore, we would like to ask you to support the work of the Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation in a will. Please contact us so that we can present to you the different possibilities of a testamentary beneficiary of the foundation – also under the tax aspects of a legal succession. With a testamentary disposition in favor of our charitable foundation, you are making an important contribution – to the fight against dementia – doing something good posthumously.
