Goals

The Breuer Foundation’s agenda concerns a noticeable improvement of the life condition for the persons affected and their families. Through support to various projects in the fields of assistance, care and treatment, the Foundation promotes the development of alternative kinds of housing and methods which can significantly improve the quality of life of the people with dementia and which can facilitate management of the disease by relatives.

The Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation intends to counteract the increase in dementia related diseases, through the targeted promotion of scientific fundamental research in the field of the causes, diagnosis and treatment. Because Alzheimer’s disease can only be understood through active research and on the basis of scientific findings – and ultimately be defeated as such.
