(e.g. annual internship, school practical internship, practical seminar while studying or apprenticeship)

With an internship we offer an opportunity to get an insight into the work of the foundation, especially in the area of help for those persons affected in the “StattHaus” Offenbach. Before the internship begins, an introductory interview takes place in which the “StattHaus” management matches the motives, interests, content and tasks with you.

The focus of the internship is on accompanying our day care guests with dementia and, in particular, getting to know the associated handling, coordination and documentation processes.

In addition, participation in the in-house meeting center / café in the form of service activities and assistance with preparation and follow-up. In addition to the day care guests, the café also serves local residents lunch, coffee and cake.

Another internship area is the residencial community for people with dementia living in the “StattHaus” (9 people). By arrangement, processes in organization and care can also be learned here.

Like the employees and volunteers, intern trainees receive continuously further training. Questions, experiences and planned measures are discussed in regular team meetings. These group meetings are supplemented by one-on-one discussions.
